MIRANDA ELDER
PREBALLET
Miranda Elder started dancing at Emerald Ballet Academy twelve years ago when she was just four years old. Although she has recently attended summer intensives at Pacific Northwest Ballet and Next Generation Ballet, she says, “EBA will always be where I belong because of its tightknit community and enthusiastic teachers.”
During her time at EBA, Miss Miranda has performed in several of Emerald Ballet Theatre’s productions, dancing prominent roles such as Aurora in Sleeping Beauty and Paquita in Paquita. She has also competed as a soloist in Youth America Grand Prix, placing Top 12 and Top 24. After participating in multiple workshops for children with Emerald Ballet Theatre, Miranda started working in childcare over a year ago and has since been co-teaching ballet at Sarodgini Children’s Academy, which partners with EBT. She says, “Teaching has always felt so fulfilling. I can’t wait to share my passion for ballet with more aspiring young dancers.”
