When Dionysus granted the golden touch, Midas’s world shimmered as if the sun itself had turned all to gold. Yet, the vibrant oranges became cruel reminders of what he could no longer savor, and the joyful melodies gave way to silence. His beloved daughter, frozen in golden stillness, became the ultimate emblem of his regret.

Redemption came as he washed in the River Pactolus, its waters cooling his curse and restoring the natural harmony. The air regained its sweetness, the oranges their flavor, and life its music.
